Once again, St. Joseph’s Parish will be providing Christmas help to 50 families known to the Outreach program at Our Lady of Loretto Church in Hempstead in the form of $25 gift cards to local stores. This format has been well received and enables the families to choose their own gifts.

$25 gift cards to the following stores would be most appreciated: WALMART, OLD NAVY, TARGET, TJMAXX, WALGREEN’S.
(These stores are chosen because they are easily accessible to the recipients.)

Our collection begins next weekend, December 3 & 4, and ends on Monday, December 12.

You may mail or deliver your donations to the Parish Social Ministry office at 120 Fifth Street or to the Rectory at 130 Fifth Street. Please write “Giving Tree” on the envelope in which you enclose your donation.There will not be collection boxes in the church for the Giving Tree.

NEW THIS YEAR: should your means allow, you might choose to provide gift cards for the members of an entire family (up to 8 persons). Your generosity is deeply appreciated.
