Our thanks to the Knights of Columbus, St. Joseph Bishop Baldwin Council for all of their service to the parish during the Veneration of the Relic of Bl. Michael McGivney and the Pilgrim Icon of St. Joseph this past Monday.
The Knights started the day with Mass at 8:30 am and remained with the Relic and the Icon in the sanctuary for silent veneration by the faithful until the 12:15 pm Mass. After Mass they then prepared a prayer service and remained in the sanctuary until the 7:00 pm Mass.
At the conclusion of the Mass, Mr. Brian V. Caulfield, Vice Postulator for the Cause of Bl. Michael McGivney, offered a presentation on the life and cause of Bl. Michael McGivney, his relevance to American Catholics today.
This was a great devotion for our parish with great participation from our Knights as custodians of the relic.
