St. Joseph School ~ Day of Giving

Posted on January 22, 2025 in: General News

Dear SJS School and Parish Community,

As part of the festivities during Catholic Schools’ Week, St. Joseph School enthusiastically participates in the NCEA Day of Giving—a dedicated day aimed at assisting SJS in achieving a fundraising goal of at least $20,000. These funds will contribute to an ambitious project that promises to enhance the educational experience for our students. In the past, the Day of Giving proceeds have been instrumental in upgrading our security camera system, installing a large projector and sound system in our school auditorium, and most recently, completely renovating our Middle School Science Lab.

We are thrilled to introduce this year’s Day of Giving project: an exciting plan to update our gym to reflect the pride and spirit of our school community! The project will focus on incredible enhancements, including a beautifully branded gym floor, a sound system to energize every event, and a sleek digital scoreboard to elevate our athletic and school-wide experiences. These upgrades will create a vibrant space for students, athletes, and families to come together and celebrate for years to come. Together, we can make this dream a reality!

We invite you to join us in this endeavor and make a meaningful contribution towards our goals. Mark your calendars and set your alarms for Day of Giving 2025, commencing on Wednesday, January 29th at 9 am. Donations can be conveniently made through our school Venmo account (@sjs_gc) or by clicking the "DONATE NOW" button on the landing page of our school website (st-josephschool.com).

Sincerely, Ms. Marcela Chavez, Principal
