Ministry of Consolation
As we have just celebrated All Souls Day and remembered our deceased loved ones at Mass, this is an appropriate time to thank those parishioners who are part of our Ministry of Consolation. Ministers of Consolation assist families who have just lost a loved one in the process of planning the funeral liturgy. This is a sensitive time, and many families can feel overwhelmed by the liturgical preparations, selecting the Scripture readings and the liturgical music for the funeral Mass. Ministers of Consolation guide families through these preparations.

We would like to expand our Consolation Ministry for funeral Masses by offering printed programs for the liturgy. To do so, we are seeking parishioners who have experience with computers to assist in setting up these programs. Anyone who has such experience (or who would like to be trained) should contact Msgr. Swiader at the rectory.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be consoled.
