Because of the tender mercy of our God, by which the daybreak from on high will visit us, to shine on those who sit in darkness and death’s shadow, to guide our feet into the path of peace.” Luke 1:78-79

Thank you all so much for your generous response to our holiday appeals—the Sponsor a Family programs for Thanksgiving and Christmas, the Giving tree program and the donations of financial support to our PSM office. Your thoughtfulness made this season more joyous for our neighbors in need.

A special thank you is due to the Committee chairs of our programs, to all the volunteers and drivers who assisted with deliveries of meals and gifts, our 7th and 8th grade Religious Education students who carried groceries, sorted and wrapped presents, and all those who delivered poinsettias to our homebound and widowed parishioners.

The mystery of the Incarnation, God’s breaking into our humanity, comes alive for us when we become light and mercy for others: to those who hunger for compassion and understanding, to those who wait for words of solace, to those who thirst for recognition and community.

Your care and concern bring the daybreak of the Lord to those in need. Thank you.

May the blessings of peace and joy abide with you and your loved ones throughout the New Year.

Gratefully,
Anna Sirianni, Director
Parish Social Ministry
