We received a lovely thank you letter from NEW GROUND, the recipient of this year’s Parish Lenten Project, for our donation of $4,230.00.  The letter states, “Your assistance makes it possible for those most in need to overcome countless barriers to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty now, as well as for future generations.  Please know that your support of our mission makes a lasting, positive impact on many on Long Island.  Thank you for being a friend to NEW GROUND.”

Shannon Boyle, NEW GROUND’s Executive Director, added this comment to her letter:  “Our heartfelt thanks to everyone at St. Joseph’s for helping our Veterans and families – especially this year during these extremely challenging months.  We are so very grateful for this support at such a critical time.”
