At the Annunciation, the Blessed Mother changed the
world forever when she consented to God’s invitation ‐
delivered by the Angel Gabriel ‐ to become the Mother
of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. On Christmas
(9 months later) Jesus was born.

On the Feast of the Annunciation, our parish will begin
its 31st Annual Spiritual Adoption Nine‐Month Prayer
Novena in which St. Joseph parishioners will pledge to
“spiritually adopt” an unknown child who is newly
conceived and in danger of abortion. Each parishioner
will be asked to pray daily at home for the safety of
his/her “spiritually‐adopted” baby ‐ as well as for the
mother and father ‐ for 9 months until Christmas.
