St. Joseph’s Parish Lenten Project 2017
This year, we are supporting the work of HOLY FAMILY HOSPITAL in Bethlehem, a state-of-the-art maternity and neonatal critical care center serving poor and at-risk women, infants and children throughout the West Bank of Palestine. In this region of conflict, the Hospital stands as a beacon of hope for impoverished families in the Bethlehem area and surrounding desert villages and U.N. Refugee Camps. The Hospital and its Outreach Clinics provide the highest quality care to all regardless of religion, ethnicity or ability to pay. No one is ever turned away.
Holy Family Hospital of Bethlehem Foundation, based in Washington, D.C., has a mission to deliver life, peace and hope in the Holy Land. As a work of the Order of Malta, the world’s oldest Christian charity, the Foundation serves to further the Catholic values of preserving life, fostering peace and offering hope to the marginalized and all those without a voice.
Please visit the Hospital’s website birthplaceofhope.org for more information. Our Parish Lenten Project begins on Ash Wednesday.
