St. Joseph’s Parish Lenten Soup Supper

Friday evening April 7 from 6 – 7:30 pm

Please join us for a simple soup supper and learn about the Opening Word program, a ministry of the Sisters of St. Dominic. It is a literacy program which teaches the English language and job readiness skills to immigrant women on Long Island. The program began in Wyandanch in September 1991 and subsequently expanded to two more sites in Amityville and Huntington Station. Today the students number more than 260.

A free will offering will be accepted for the Opening Word Literacy Program.
