The Trustees of Stephen’s Fund grant at least two Awards to Garden City
seniors attending Garden City High School and any private school. In 2014, the
Trustees granted awards to six students from Garden City: three to GCHS
seniors and three to private school seniors from Regis, Sacred Heart and
Chaminade. Applicants for the Award for Excellence in Math, Science or
Technology are also considered for awards for Leadership, Business,
Information Technology, Community Service and Christian Values.
The application is not lengthy and we ask only for a short essay so that the
Trustees have some sense of the applicant. Grades influence the Trustees very
little, if at all, when selecting a winner. The Trustees are family and friends of
Stephen’s and all are parents.
