Our parish invites you to "spiritually adopt" a child who is newly conceived this month, and to pray daily for that baby for the next 9 months. Not all newly conceived babies are allowed to be born. In fact, more that 4,000 babies lose their lives to abortion each day. It is these babies that you are being asked to "spiritually adopt".

You may "adopt" a child individually or as a family by signing up during the Masses. You will be able to name the child for whom you will be praying, thereby recognizing the humanity of the baby as he or she deserves.

Look for the sign up cards in the pews and at the doors of the church and auditorium. Fill out and return the sign up card to a collection basket. Retain the prayer card portion and keep it handy for your daily prayers.

Each month the parish bulletin will include an update of your baby's growth and development. At Christmas time, we will conclude this nine month novena with another parish wide Baby Shower.

Please "spiritually adopt" one (or more-perhaps a boy and a girl) and share the love for life that God has given you.
